Great meeting the other night discussing LOVING FRANK. Not great literature, but a great book for generating discussion. There is no question that the mothers in the group felt Mamah's decision to leave her children was a mistake, and so found it difficult to sympathize with her. On the other hand, we see that women of that era were limited in their choices, and community opinion of them harsh.
For our next meeting, we will discuss DREAMS FROM MY FATHER by President Barack Obama. I am looking forward to it.
