If someone had told me at our book group meeting in February, that our next meeting would have been a Zoom videoconference, I would have laughed and said: No way. But life turns very quickly, particularly when an invisible virus invaded California. Indeed, as we were discussing the book FLIGHTS, the virus was already here, we just didn't know it.
So far, we've had two meetings on Zoom, the first went well, the second, well, not so well. Perhaps it was just an off night. Although the best part of meeting number two (discussing MY FAVORITE THING IS MONSTERS) was hearing Jo discuss the artistic merits of the book. Thanks, Jo.
I have no idea what to say right now. It looks like we might have to have yet another Zoom meeting in May. It's rough not to be together, after all these years.

I think the reality of not being physically together is setting in, and it runs parallel to the Zoom meeting. We miss each other! The book was not the first graphic novel we've read (Fun Home was, I think) but it was quite a roller coaster experience. I liked it!
