RETURN OF THE CLASSICS

We had a most interesting meeting discussing Monique and the Mango Rains, with topics ranging from the vagaries of publishing (and why this book was so hard to find in stores) to the Peace Corps, the incredible conditions in third world countries, and much more.

Ricia was our host, the meal was incredible. We also gave her a hand for her work opposing Prop 8. Thanks, friend.

After considering a number of books including both of Obama's books, we for some reason decided to go classic (actually we've done that at Christmas a few times). We will read HUCKLEBERRY FINN and I will finally find out the significance of the Duke and the Dauphin.

We didn't set a date, but January will be the month and Theresa will host with Sue co-hosting.
