People of the Book

The group's first choice for 2012 was People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks. Engrossing, engaging, well written and very extensively researched historical sections. We liked it. Other topics that came up: kidpix, intentional communities, the 49ers, Burmese food (which we were enjoying, thanks Serina), and more. No politics . . . hmm.
